EASY BODY CLEANSE RECIPE


Spring is here and it’s time to give your body some love by doing a cleanse. Not only does it restore the body and get rid of the toxins accumulated during the winter, it can also help you lose some weight and feel much better about yourself.

Below are some easy ways you can detox your body at home and get ready for the summer.

Epsom Bath Salts Hot water draws toxins out of the body to the skin’s surface, while the water cools it pulls toxins from the skin. Epsom salts augment this detoxification by causing you to sweat. Also, when added to water, these natural salts can help to cleanse your colon.Lemon Water Just add lemon to your water through out the day. The acid in the lemons assist the cleansing process. Citrus fruits, such as lemons, contain a pure concentrated form of citric acid. Citric acid works like bleach on fat. Due to its acidity and high ph, citric acid is able to actually penetrate and break down fat molecules.

Apple Detox Diet For three or four days, eat nothing but raw early-ripening apples, like Jonathans, red or yellow Delicious, Oregon Reds, Arkansas Black, or Sheep Nose. You may prefer organically-grown apples. You should try to eat at least six apples each day.

Juice Cleanses

Switching your regular diet to a juice cleanse for 3 to 10 days can make a huge difference in your overall health and energy levels, Start by changing your diet prior to the cleanse; consume more fruits and vegetables to get your body used to them. During the cleanse, drink 32 to 64 ounces of fresh-squeezed juice from fresh fruits and vegetables every day, and eight glasses of water to flush toxins from your body. Drink a laxative tea at night to stay regular. Ease off the cleanse by slowly introducing solid foods like salad and fruit. Here are three juice recipes from www.justcleansing.com.

The Kidney Cleanse: Juice 3 celery stalks, 2 tomatoes, 1 peeled lemon, 2 carrots and water. The Skin Cleanse: Juice 1 cucumber, a ½ bunch of fresh parsley, 4 ounces of alfalfa sprouts, 4 sprigs of fresh mint and water. The iron-enriched blood builder: In a blender, add 2 bunches of grapes, 6 oranges, 8 peeled lemons, ¼ cup of honey and water.

The Master Cleanse

The Master Cleanse diet involves fasting for 10 days to two weeks while getting all your nutrients from a mixture of water, cayenne pepper, maple syrup and lemon juice. It is known for its detoxifying benefits as well as the weight loss that accompanies it. Users should start the day with a saltwater flush, drinking 32 ounces of lukewarm water mixed with 2 teaspoons of uniodized sea salt. Through the day, the only thing you’ll consume is the Master Cleanse drink, which consists of: 10 ounces of purified water; 2 tablespoons of organic lemon juice, 2 tablespoons of organic Grade B Maple Syrup and 2 pinches of cayenne pepper. To make a large batch, mix 660 ounces of purified water with 12 tablespoons of organic lemon juice, 12 tablespoons of organic Grade B Maple Syrup, and ½ teaspoon of cayenne pepper. Lastly, finish every day by drinking laxative tea to flush all the toxins out of your system.
